Priority

Priority belongs to vehicles travelling on the main road as indicated by road signs

Trams have right of way over other road users regardless of coming from the right or left.
Warning of Approach

It is prohibited to use the horn in built up areas between the hours of 2200 - 0600

If outside of above then only use the horn if absolutely necessary

The horn may be used outside built up areas to avoid accidents

Driving Penalties

The police can issue on the spot fines but must issue you an official receipt.
Identifying Speed Camera Locations

A car navigation system with maps indicating the location of fixed speed cameras is permitted, but equipment which actively searches for speed cameras or interferes with police equipment is prohibited.
Parking Regulations

Parking is prohibited where it may obstruct other vehicles

In one way streets parking is only on the left
Parking Fines Enforcement

Parking fines are from 200 BGN to 2000 BGN
-
Wheel clamps can be used with a release fee of 30 BGN
-
Vehicles causing obstruction will be towed away and incur a fine of 60 BGN
