Trip Notes
The first day of the trip. I expect I’ll be more excited than an excited thing on an excited day in excited land. Up at sparrows fart and out the door at dark O’clock would be ideal but probably an 8 am start would be more suitable.
There isn’t much to see today, it’s all Motorway riding and pretty boring but the fact we are getting on the road, getting moving and getting into Europe will more than make up for it. .

M20 Service Station (Junction 8)
It makes sense to meet up on the route somewhere and this is the first logical place where we can meet, park without problems, fill up with fuel and get something to drink before we start our journey into Europe.
Ideal time to make sure we have everything.
Eurotunnel
We will need to book on Eurotunnel (book overnight return as this always works out cheaper)
Mons
We should get into mons quite early. We can stay at Eric’s (already confirmed) and will be able to meet up with a few old work friends in the evening. I can take you to meet some friends and have a great Steak and a beer.
