Mostar
is the most important city in the Herzegovina region, It is situated on the Neretva River and was named after the bridge keepers (natively: mostari) who in the medieval times guarded the Stari Most (Old Bridge) over the Neretva. The Old Bridge, built by the Ottomans in the 16th century, is one of Bosnia and Herzegovina's most recognizable landmarks, and is considered one of the most exemplary pieces of Islamic architecture in the Balkans
Malostaonski
A check point to make sure we hit the coast road we want. Looks like there is a café we can use before we head over the bridge and on to the coast road
Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik is among the 10 best preserved medieval walled cities in the world
In 1991 it was besieged for seven months during the breakup of Yugoslavia and suffered significant damage from shelling.
I am pretty sure I will want to go dip my toes in the sea.
