I have a HD cam hidden in my googles, Ill be wearing a motocros lid with the goggles for the journey. I will also have a QUMOX Sj4000 HD Cam fitted to the windscreen

The other bike will have a Go Pro HD cam either stuck to the helmet or somewhere on the bike

Coming from an IT background you wont be surprised to find we are taking a ton of tech kit with us. Both of us will be carrying Helmet cameras, GPS on the bike and Phones, tablets, hard drives and a few other things in the bags

Both bikes will carry a GPS system with all the Stops and Destinations added to the system as POI's.

I'm taking a surface pro 3 with me for the trip. My Camera uses micro sd cards to record the journey and they fit straight into the Surface micro sd card slot. The days video will then be copied straight to an external Hard drive through the Surfaces USB port. It also means i can update the blog, and watch a movie before bed.

Phones

2 x Phone

Of course we are taking phones, I plan on using Skype to stay in contact with my kids but the phone will be there as a back up and for incoming calls.

6 x 32 gb Micro SD cards

the hard drives are for copying the days riding videos, i expect we will use around 800gb to record every ride on both cameras. If we run out of space we will have to get another one on route.

The extra batteries are for the obvious, a battery normally lasts about 2 hours so if we plan on being out all day we are going to need 4 or 5 every day to record everything

The extra cards are backukps, i should be able to copy the days riding off every night but just in case i will take a couple spare and copy off when i can.
