We have to stop at the border here and pick up Kosovo vehicle insurance so we might as well plug it in as a stop point and have a break. Not sure if there is a cafe there so we might want to pick something up in the village before

Vernice
This is the border crossing into Kosovo, we will need to pick up vehicle insurance here so we might as well make it a break point. I am not sure if there is a café so maybe we should stop in Kukes on the way up and get something.
Prevalla
Prevalla is a small village/town on the road through the Sar Mountains. I should be able to stop here and find somewhere to rest up for an hour or so
Skopje
Skopje is internationally famous for being the birthplace of Mother Teresa. Despite the turbulent history of the Balkans, Skopje has blossomed into a thriving, stimulating city to explore, with the beautiful quay of the Macedonian river “Vardar”. Or take a stroll along the narrow streets of the Old Bazaar, which is the biggest bazaar preserved in the Balkans today. Climb up the Upper Town (the "Kale"), in order to feel the spirit of the 1500 years' old fortress and enjoy the panorama of Skopje.
